A leaking roof can cause lots of trouble, but sometimes the repair or replacement of that same roof can be much more troublesome. What I mean is, a roofing contractor who does not carry all the proper insurances can leave you exposed to expenses and lawsuits.
Things can happen during a roofing installation, even when using the best of roofing contractors. Unfortunately, not all roofers invest in good quality coverage insurance. Make sure you choose a company that has been in business for a least 10-20 years and is more likely, able and willing to select good insurance that will protect both you and them.
