Roofing Before Rot.
Little leaks can turn into big rot when left unchecked. This has been the winter to challege your roof with snow, ice, wind and lots and lots of rain. If your roof is getting old, don’t think that by getting an extra year out of it you will save a bunch of money. Generally not true.

Roofing is very similar to car tires – without a good set of tires or a watertight roof – the vehilce or house is useless. We don’t advocate replacing a roof before it is necessary, but if your in a neighborhood and your seeing lots of similar homes being reroofed, or water stains are appearing on the ceiling, or roofing granules are building up in the gutters, it’s time to take action.
This is going to be a tough year for homeowners and the roofing industry. The weather has already put roofing installers behind by over a couple of months. There’s generally no way to make this loss of installation time back up. So don’t wait until summer to book your roofing install date. The best and most established roofing companies often book up the fastest.
And don’t forget, you want to hire a company who uses there own trained and hourly paid employees. You don’t want to install a thirty year roof by newly hired and piecework motivated roofers. Start early and do your research if this is your year for a new roof.
